What can you offer?

TWP Racing offer an ‘arrive and drive’ option for drivers wanting to take part in Endurance racing. Specifically, we compete in the 750 Motor Club – TEGIWA Club Enduro Championship, as we believe this is a championship that offers cost-effective racing with a respectful paddock of like minded teams and drivers. This Championship take us all over the UK plus a double-header round at Spa Francorchamps. To find out more about the Championship, click the button below.
What will I be driving?

Our current options come in the form of an Mk3 MX5 and an S2 Lotus Elise, both engineered to Endurance format. Our track record sees drivers come back to sign season after season, and we are proud to continue working with these individuals. To find out more about the cars, click the button below.
Is the team up to it?

Simply, yes. Although we are a University-based team, therefore working with students, do not be fooled. In line with the projects aims, you can expect a professional and well-oiled team who will have prepared the car to the highest standard prior to arriving at the circuit, so that it will be track ready when you arrive. We intend to give the students real-time experience of what it would be like to work in a professional Motorsport team, so we work hard all weekend to give you the setup you need, and strive for the best result every time.

Our practices in the paddock and pit lane speak for themselves, and we often turn heads when we start practicing pit stops so that we are as slick as possible when that crucial stop comes around in the race.

The team has a range of experience, not only in the students themselves, but the management team who work closely with them throughout the weekend to ensure the highest quality of work and teach new skills where appropriate. All of this provides you with a tight car that you can trust on circuit.
What can I expect when I arrive?

When you arrive at the circuit, you will be greeted by a team eager to get you racing. A mix of the management team and students attend every weekend, ready to get you in the car as soon as you arrive. You will work closely with the management team and students throughout the race meet, with us working on your feedback to make changes to suit you. The more we get to know you, the better. We encourage the seasoned students to take a lead with the cars, but they are overseen at all times.

You will have full use of the TWP hospitality facilities and space in the support vehicle to store your kit during the weekend if needed. You are more than welcome to make use of this and host your own guests during the weekend, such as family, friends or clients.

Remember, we are a non for profit organisation, therefore much cheaper than commercial providers. To get in touch, click the button below.
Can I ‘try before I buy’?

Yes. If you would like to test the car before a race weekend, we would be more than happy to meet you at a circuit for you to test the car. This will be at your cost and track damage insurance will be insisted upon. The test will be at the team’s discretion, depending on the stage of the season or off-season build schedule. This can be discussed with the Team Principal.  We are based close to Oulton Park, Anglesey, Donington and Blyton Park which we utilise regularly for testing.
